A wine region with a refreshing approach
Needless to say, I love to drink wine but more and more I’m looking behind the scenes of wine brands to see what good they’re doing in the world. I’ll be honest, I could be more educated and better practiced about sustainability – I try but there’s no doubt there’s more I could be doing. I. like many others, am relying on the brands I connect with to be on the ball’ on my behalf so it’s really promising when I see a commitment not only from wine brands but in this case, an entire wine region to do better for the planet and for those consumers who drink their wines. When a whole wine region makes a commitment, it means that we can trust that the producers in that region are making better choices.
Côtes du Rhône is among the oldest vineyard regions known to humanity! So, all the more poignant when it plays its part in future-proofing and being transparent to us wine drinking customers! I was lucky enough to work on a series of films for the Côtes du Rhône region – Roaming The Rhône
Joe Wadsack, Libby Brodie and Andrew Sheridan explore the celebrated wine region and meet the producers
Roaming the Rhône is a wine-utainment series that celebrates all things Rhône with top wine personalities Joe Wadsack, Libby Zietsman-Brodie and rugby and wine hero Andrew Sheridan. Deep in Southern Rhône the wine explorers go on a journey to unearth the stories, beliefs and history that lie behind the wonderful Côtes du Rhône region as they travel to vineyards, meet the producers and, of course, sample some standout wines.
